Theo founded Studio Scaramanga in 2024 with a focus on context-led, sustainable architecture. His work is shaped by a deep appreciation for historic buildings, material sensitivity, and carefully considered modern interventions to deliver environmentally responsible design.

Prior to founding the practice, Theo worked as a Project Architect at Stonewood Design, where he led projects including The Creamery in Somerset — the sensitive renovation and extension of a historically significant factory building.

Theo also contributes to architectural education as an associate lecturer on the Architecture and Environmental Engineering course at University of the West of England.

Poppy Scaramanga

Studio Manager

Poppy joined Studio Scaramanga in 2025. She manages the operational and administrative aspects of the studio, providing structure and continuity across all projects.

After nine years as a secondary school teacher, she brings a calm, organised, and people-focused approach to the practice, allowing the design work to be fully supported behind the scenes
